Is there anyone who has never heard of Weekly Reader? Well, it is now on-line, and they have a site for kids--and parents and teachers, too! Organized by grade level--PreKindergarten through 6th and higher--there are writing activities, coloring pages, science experiments, current events, jokes, and advice to parents. The information on this site is accessible also by clicking on "I'm a Kid", "I'm a Parent", or "I'm a Teacher". Planet Cool makes learning fun with challenges such as mystery photos, matching games, sci-trivia games, news buster games, etc. The site is updated regularly, so check in often for new activities.
