Beer is the magic ingredient in this sauce
Crockpot Appetizer Meatballs
| 2 lbs. hamburger |
1 tsp oregano |
| 1 C bread crumbs |
1/4 tsp. onion powder |
| 1 egg |
1/4 tsp. garlic powder |
| Grated parmesan cheese |
1 can beer |
| 1 tsp. parsley |
1 regular bottle ketchup |
- Mix hamburger, bread crumbs, egg, seasonings, and milk together.
- Make small meatballs.
- Mix the ketchup and beer in the crockpot and heat to simmering. You may cook the
meatballs in the sauce, but--
- To eliminate most of the grease, bake the meatballs uncovered in a 350° oven for about
30 minutes (depending on the size).
- Drain the meatballs and add to the simmering sauce.
- Simmer and serve from the crockpot.
