Ooey Gooey Butter Cake
| 1 box (18 oz) yellow cake mix | 1 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese, softened |
| 1/2 C butter or margarine, melted | 1 lb. confectioners sugar |
| 2 eggs, slightly beaten | 1 1/2 tsp vanilla |
In a bowl mix the butter, eggs, and cake mix together to make moist crumbs.
Pat the mixture evenly over the bottom of a lightly greased 9" x 12" pan.
Combine the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla in a bowl, and beat until smooth.
Pour over the crumb mixture.
Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes. Cool and then cut into squares for serving.
Remainder may be wrapped in plastic wrap and kept in the refrigerator for a few days.
