Ham-Potato and Cheese Casserole
| 3/4 lb.cooked ham, cut into small pieces | 1/4 tsp pepper |
| 1 small onion, finely cut | 1 C sharp cheese, grated |
| 4-5 potatoes, thinly sliced | 1 C milk |
| 3 T flour | 2 T butter |
| 1/2 tsp salt |
- Layer half the ham, onion and potatoes in a casserole dish.
- Mix the flour, salt, pepper and cheese; sprinkle half over the ham and potatoes in the dish.
- Repeat the layers.
- Heat milk and butter together: pour over the casserole.
- Cover and bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
- Uncover to brown; bake until the potatoes are tender (about 25 minutes longer).
- Makes 4 servings.
