| 2 lbs. lean ground beef, browned | Salt, pepper, onion powder, red pepper |
| 1 large can tomatoes | 1 lb. grated sharp cheddar cheese |
| 1 pkg. (8 oz) thin noodles |
- Brown meat.
- Add the tomatoes and cook 1/2 hr.
- Cook the noodles in boiling, salted water. Drain and wash in cold water.
- Season meat and tomatoes to taste with salt, pepper onion powder and red pepper (Mexene).
- Combine meat mixture and noodles and add the cheese, reserving some to sprinkle on top.
- Place the mixture in a greased casserole and bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
- Serves 6-8.
- One of us likes to add hot salsa to the top at serving time.
