Mother's Peanut Butter Fudge

2 C sugar 2/3 C peanut butter
1 T cocoa Lump of butter (about 2 T)
2/3 C milk 1 tsp vanilla
  • Cook sugar, cocoa, and milk to soft ball stage.
  • Add the peanut butter and vanilla and beat until creamy.
  • Pour into a buttered dish (about 8" square) and let cool.
  • Cut into pieces.
