Flank steak is a lean piece of meat, and the marinade adds a great flavor!

MARINATED FLANK STEAK

1 1/2 - 2 lbs flank steak 2 T dry sherry
1/4 C sesame seed 1 small onion, diced
1/4 C corn oil* 1 clove garlic, crushed or 1 tsp powder
1/4 C soy sauce 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/4 C dark corn syrup 1/4 tsp ground ginger

*I usually omit the oil in the marinade, and it doesn't seem to affect the flavor adversely.
