Ham Loaves
| 1 lb. lean pork, 1 lb.smoked ham, ground together | 1 C milk (1/2 C Milnot +1/2 water) |
| 2 eggs | Salt and pepper to taste |
| 1 C Ritz cracker crumbs |
- Mix all the ingredients together.
- Shape into eight small loaves and place in a baking dish or pan.
- Bake at 350° for 45 minutes, basting with the Cranberry Glaze every 5-10 minutes after they begin to bake.
- Serve with an additional sauce at the table if desired. Makes 8 servings.
- This recipe may be made into one large loaf and baked at 325° for one and one-half hours.
Cranberry Glaze
| 1 C brown sugar | 1 T dry mustard |
| 1/2 C cranberry juice cocktail |
- Mix brown sugar and dry mustard together.
- Stir in cranberry juice.
- Spoon over the ham loaves every 5-10 minutes after they begin to bake
Cranberry Sauce for Ham Loaf
| 1 C whole berry cranberry sauce | 1 tsp horseradish |
Heat and serve as a sauce with the ham loaf.
