Microwave Beef Stroganoff
| 1/4 C margarine or butter | 1 tsp black pepper |
| 2 tsp salt | 1 C sour cream |
| 4 medium onion, thinly sliced | 2 cans (4 oz each) mushroom pieces, drained |
| 1 T dry mustard | 2 to 2 1/2 lbs. boneless beef round steak, trimmed of fat and cut into thin strips (1/4") |
| 1 T sugar |
Combine butter, onion, dry mustard, sugar, salt, and pepper in a 3 qt. casserole.
Cover and microwave on High for 10 minutes, stirring twice.
Add the beef, stir in. Cover, and microwave on High for 6 minutes or until the meat is no longer pink.
Stir in the mushrooms. Cover, and cook on Defrost for 20 minutes.
Stir in the sour cream. Cover, and cook on Defrost for 4-5 minutes.
Let stand for 5 minutes. Serve over hot buttered noodles.
Serves 6-8.
