Huber Family Farm

Nestled in the hills of southeastern Indiana lies the Joe Huber Family Farm and Restaurant--a 300 acre complex of orchards, vegetable and flower gardens, and restaurant.. Located not far off a state highway, each year over 300,000 visitors travel the last few miles on country roads through the scenic hills to reach the farm for an afternoon of activity including tractor rides over the farm, picking your own fruits or vegetables, visiting the Farm Market and Gift Shop--and, of course, eating in the restaurant, which was awarded a four-star rating from the Louisville Courier Journal. Featuring real country cooking served family style, the restaurant affords diners a view of the flower gardens and the lake, where kids (parents and grandparents, too!) can have fun feeding the ducks. Live entertainment is provided outside on the patio each weekend from Memorial Day through October. For those of you who are daylily enthusiasts their Starlight Daylily Garden, with over 600 different daylily cultivars, is an American Hemerocallis Society Display Garden and is an especially attractive feature in June, July, and August. The restaurant is open from March 1st through December 23rd, and can easily accomodate tours. For those who make reservations (and that does seem advisable), it is well to know that they operate on Louisville time. Make your reservations for a fun-filled day of activity and lots of good food by calling 812-923-5255.
