StonyCreek Farm

Located two miles east of Noblesville, IN, StonyCreek Farm is an 1860's family farm.  Kids from 2 to 92 will enjoy the offerings.  The last weekend in September starts the Pumpkin Harvest Festival, which continues through October.  Ride hay wagons to the field to pick your own pumpkin.  Enjoy the petting zoo at the log cabin.  If you time it right, you can watch the basket weavers and blacksmith at work!  The Country Market offers light lunches, while the Craft Barn offers handmade crafts.  Pony Rides are also available for the kids on animals ranging in size from quarter horse down to a burro.  Be prepared to spend the entire day and to leave exhauseted!

In addition to the standard entertainment, each weekend features a different theme.  Schedules may vary from year to year, but for the rest of October, 1998, it is:

Oct 17-18 -- "Morning Lights Ron-De-Voo -- Buckskinners, Trader & Trappers Encampment
Oct 24-25 -- "Civil War Re-Enactment -- The Siege of Stony Creek".  Battle at 1:30 p.m. each day

Unable to make it for the Halloween season?  They also have a Country Christmas!  You can take a hayride to the field and cut your own Christmas tree or select a live tree which you may plant after enjoying it during the holidays!  You may browse the gift shop and warm yourself with a cup of hot chocolate or hot cider.
